We felt like grilled fish again, so it was back to Blok M Express, exactly a week later... :)
We thought the Ikan Acar Kuning would be fish smothered in acar-style pickles with loads of crushed peanuts. It turned out to be a creamy coconut curry with heavy turmeric and other spices. Very good!
The Soto Madura had fair whack of lemongrass, making it feel nice and light. It was a pity that the beef tripe was too tough. I think it could do with some more stewing.
