A quick dinner in the city before heading home.
We gave up on Ajisen Ramen when the waitress gave away an empty table to a party of four that arrived after us, so we headed to Ishikai instead.
We enjoyed a grilled salmon with a light drizzle of teriyaki sauce, and the teriyaki chicken with my udon noodles. It was a pity that they used instant udon noodles. This lot tasted a bit strange, most likely from the plastic packaging it was in. We definitely prefer frozen udon noodles which are smooth and chewy.
For dessert, we popped into the Chinese grocer next door to pick up some exotic Apple and Green Tea Kit Kat! :)
