Kenny was pleasantly surprised at how good the 水煮鱼 Spicy Boiled Fish was. The name in Chinese translates to water-boiled fish, but this was the tastiest version he has had. We typically avoid this dish because it tends to taste like water-boiled fish with loads of chilli, but this actually had other flavours, and the fish was smooth and fresh too. Molley thought that it could have used more chillis! :P
This was before the waiter scooped up most of the chilli, leading us to speculate if it was to stem the diffusion of the oils into the fish to allow the fish flavours to be tasted, or if those chillies were to be re-used in some other dish :)
