Julia and I had lunch here last year, and it wasn't that great. However, Kwong liked the Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry there, so I was prepared to give it a seconds chance.

 

As it turns out, they were out of Chicken Curry, and Kwong didn't think their rendang was good, so we went for Curry Laksa, and David had Salt and Pepper Chicken Ribs on rice.

 

I liked the lemongrass in the curry laksa, which seemed to nicely balance the "lemak" (creaminess) of the coconut milk, but I also like the curry laksa at Chatterbox (hmmm... I can't find any photos) where the lemak stands out.

 

I think I could go back to Sambal Kampung to try the Chicken Curry :)
