Machine translation:

"Tunnel sight" towards the sea. A permanent photo exhibition in a closed tunnel on the island of Skrova with historical pictures documenting life in Northern Norway from the beginning of photography until today. The 250 meter long tunnel was blown out in the sixties for catching fish on the pier. The exhibition has a hundred pictures, from 1890 to 1985. Three photographers are represented. Sven-Ivar Carlsson lived for long periods at Skrova, and he photographed everyday life at sea and at home at Skrova. Sven-Ivar Carlsson has the largest share of the hundred pictures in the tunnel, but Wilse has many working life pictures from Skrova, and there are some great pictures by Nicolai Marcelius Helgesen.
