Osechi ryouri 2013

For the first time, I tried making some traditional Japanese New Year's food (i.e. osechi ryouri). Clockwise from 12 o'clock:

 

- Herring roe (the yellow things)

- Tuna wrapped in kelp

- Sweetened black beans

- Lotus root

- Burdock root with crushed sesame seeds

- (in the center) salmon roe
