We have suddenly decided that we both really want to be making quilts. This shift in crafting focus that has thrilled Boomer, who has long wanted to be able to focus more on quilting than the moderate puttering she currently does. So when we announced that we'd been spending our days in increasingly intense tizzies shopping quilt patterns and fabrics, she stunned us by pulling out the complete supplies for the quilts we'd picked out. Boomer is amazing sometimes. Here are the "jellyrolls" (bundles of fabric strips) that will make up the hexagon-patterned quilt Pookie's making. The fabric is "Look and Learn" by American Jane.
