Baked Halibut with Kale Tart

Super easy halibut recipe that's always results in deliciously moist and flakey fish. My mom made this a lot when I was growing up.

Onion Breading for Baked Halibut

• 6 oz Creme friache (this is enough for 1 lbs of fish)

• 1/2 Cup Bread crumbs

• 2 Tbs Dried onion soup mix

• 2 Tbs Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 375F. Mix together dry ingredients in a square baking dish. Rinse and pat dry pieces of halibut. Roll fish in creme friache until evenly coated on all sides. Coat in dry mixture, pressing firmly to ensure the mixture sticks. Bake in a shallow baking pan for 15 minutes, or until fish is flaky and cooked through. The pieces I bought were very very thick, so it took 30 minutes to cook through. Careful to not overcook though - check every 5-10 minutes.
