Rock Climbing
Kristina and I (along with my friend Andy) went rock climbing at City Beach in Fremont. I've wanted to do a shoot there ever since I got a membership.
Kudos to Kristina, who hadn't gone climbing in at least a couple years. She was dangling from rocks for a commendable amount of time. Her hands were probably so tired later she'd have trouble opening a chip-clip.
What you can't see here are her fashionable and functional Vibram FiveFinger shoes.
This was shot perched atop the bouldering area wall. Andy was holding a light stand over his head with a shoot-through umbrella and 580ex II. The flash was triggered with the canon ST-E2 transmitter. The wall made a pretty decent fill-reflector.
