Always a joy to see clumps of Thrift also known as Sea Pinks. This cushion-forming perennial carpets cliffs, coastal roadsides & salt marshes from April to July with dense tufts of papery, pink flowers & grass-like grey-green leaves. This is the view down to the beach from the cliff at Carnarvon Bay, Co. Wexford. The yellow flowers are Kidney Vetch. I'll upload a separate photo of these another time.

Wild flower photo 52/100 for the 100 Flowers 2018 Group.
