A Bird's eye view
Common Bird's-foot-trefoil growing on the grassy cliffs behind Baginbun beach. It is the distinctive seedpod which gives the plant its name. The seeds are contained in slender pods which when ripe resemble a bird's foot. From this vantage point I was able to watch the RNLI Land Rover rescue mission (see photo in first comment box below) HGGT!
Photo 25/100 for the 100 Flowers 2018 Group. This year I'm challenging myself to photograph 100 different wildflower species found growing in the Irish countryside as listed on www.wildflowersofireland.net
