The Good Shepherd
I drew this picture few years ago, I believe it was in my last year of high school, but I am not sure exactly when and the frame is covering the date! I started drawing for fun when I was just a child but never took it seriously even though some people advised me to take art lessons.
Drawing was just a fun activity to me because I could simply pick a pencil and draw whenever I wanted to, and nothing could hinder me since I knew no right or wrong way to draw: I just drew the way I drew! So I never wanted to learn how to draw the "right" way.
This picture I believe was the second last picture I’ve drawn to date. The disadvantage of me drawing is that I could never draw faces as good as other things. I have always had hard time conveying the emotions in a person’s face and sometimes even getting the face’s features right on proved impossible, and this picture was no exception.
The last picture I drew, it was of Lord Jesus too, proved different: the face and features of both Jesus and the child He was holding were right on…thank God! I don’t have it with me because it was a gift for a friend, but if I ever come across it I would take a photo of it and share it with you :) For the meantime I hope you enjoy this one :)
PS: I did not come up with this picture, but I think this is obvious--I drew it from a printed copy of a painting.
