Keen Kutter No. K-2

This plane was manufactured by Stanley for E.C. Simmons Hardware, they sold it under their Keen Kutter brand.

The plane is made the same as the early round sided No.-602 Bedrock’s, the only differences are (1). The bed is marked “K 2", (2). The lever cap is unmarked it does not have the BEDROCK name cast on it, (3) the lateral adjustment lever is twisted at the end instead of Stanley’s regular two piece type, and (4) the cutter is stamped with the Keen Kutter logo.

Please check out my set “No.2 alike”, perhaps click and watch a slide show, might be fun?
