"Ray is one of my best friends in Flickr, I've got to admit that his work had & still inspires me, especially his seascapes which he does perfectly & sometimes he adds such unexpected elements to them such as the one with light painting. Seattle's cityscapes are something everyone must view in his stream, which I know any tourism company will buy immediately, they should be in postcards. wish you all the best Ray :)"

Michael Steverson says:
"Ray is one of my oldest Flickr friends, wait, I mean to say is one of my FIRST Flickr friends. A remarkable photographer, he has a unique ability to put you right there in the frame with him. I often feel as though I have stepped into a magical world when I look at his art. If you spend some time browsing through his photostream you'll get it, the work speaks for itself.
What you may not otherwise know about Ray is that he is "good people". He always makes time for me. He encourages me, critiques me, answers all my lame questions about exposure and light and asks nothing in return. THAT is why, nearly two years later, Ray is still my friend today. Thanks buddy.
Oh, I should also mention he is a close personal friend of John Elway..."

"I have seen Ray's work evolve and grow over the last year or so, and it's been a fascinating process to observe. He is fearless with his camera, and creative in his technique, so that his photostream is full of variety and inspiration.
I mean the "inspiration" quite literally, as I find myself getting excited by some of Ray's work and going out to try one or another of his ideas.
Add a penchant for silliness, a respect for the craft, and dedication to his contacts, and I count myself fortunate and enriched for having Ray as a friend."

"Ray is a warmhearted and sincere person. Someone who is around when things get rough. I am thankful to have met him. His photos of the sea fill me with a sense of peace of which there is so little in this world.
Thank you Ray."

"Ray takes some great pics, but can see the funny side of life even if the pic isn't so great. He has a great sense of humour which is only matched by mine, but I like to think I'm one step ahead of him and I like to keep him guessing as to what I'm going to do next...however, he seems to be able to read my mind and out wits me sometime(Not alot though.).Keep snapping Old Friend prehaps one day we'll met.yours

"Ray added me as a contact a few months ago and since then I have been treated to his outstanding body of work: both the quality and diversity of his work is quite impressive. His photographs span many subjects and his keen photographic eye has captured many interesting and enjoyable images. But even more importantly, Ray epitomizes the support, knowledge, and encouragement that Flickr members, at their best, can provide to their fellow photographers."

"I've been enjoying xinapray's pictures for a while now, and am always struck by his unique vision. He seems to have an innate understanding of composition, a sensitive eye and unique technical skills. I have no idea how he creates some of his latest photos, but they are simply stunning. An overused word on FLickr, but I'd have to make up a new one for his inimitable style. Ethereal, yet solid. Otherworldly in feel, yet at the same time, so realistic as to be almost 3D.
If you haven't perused his photostream, sit, back, relax and play the slide show. You're in for a treat."
