Imagine a young child, eye level with a floor full of miniature toys, concentrating intently on building a make-believe world. To the child, the toys are not miniature figures made of plastic or wood. They are real characters with real adventures. The child frames the action, crafting scenes that unfold in a world of imagination. Looking through the lens of my camera brings to life the photojournalist within me, where the story takes place in a world where events are changing constantly. As a former TV News Photojournalist I have been involved in all aspects of Television Production. From being a TV News Photojournalist, to a Producer, a Director, I have seen it all.

After working in TV news for a number of years I finally hung up my video camera for a DSLR, where I decided to start my own photography business (White Shadow Photography). However there are days I miss when I wish I had HMI lights for outdoors shoots, but oh well ( www.cybercollege.com/tvp030.htm )! ,The nice part of having my own Photography business is the fact that I don't have to worry about answering pages at 2am to cover any kind of breaking news such as fires, accidents, crime scenes etc.

Well this is getting long so I'll end it by saying I'm currently shooting on a Nikon D300, D200 and as a third backup my trusty Nikon D70s as well as a Sony NEX-7. For those quick and candid photographs I shoot with a Nikon S9700. Well there is my story and I'm sticking to it...

"When I was a young boy, I tried and listen,
And I wanna feel like that...
Little white shadows, blink and miss them
Part of a system I am

If you ever feel like something's missing?
Things you'll never understand
Little white shadows, sparkle and glisten
Part of a system plan."

"Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography."
~George Eastman, Founder of the Eastman-Kodak Company

"Bibhash is a rare find on Flickr. He flits effortlessly between wonderful evocative landscape photography, photo journalism and some of the amazing aviation photographs I've seen - skillfully captured and composed in ways that (if you've been a few airshows) beggars belief.

Take a few minutes to wander back through his stream and you'll be assaulted with a rich variety of imagery, all of which will put a smile on your face."

"I came across White Shadow's (Bibhash) shots while looking through photostreams and drilling down through chains of comments. When I saw his humorous photo showing the interesting name of a Krispy Kreme/Touchless Car Wash/Gas Station, I was hooked! Also, the fact that he has a photo set called "Home Sweet Home, Arizona" reeled me in as well. He tells stories and takes photographs for a living and IMHO, is great at both. Bibhash has a great sense of humor as is demonstrated in his photo titles and descriptions; he likes music and frequently associates songs with his shots (like me). I can always count on him for visits and wonderful comments, even on the mundane stuff. He says that I got him going on this whole wide world of Flickr, well Bibhash keeps me going and I consider him a good friend as well as a master photographer."
