I am a retired professional photographer in Warren, a suburb of the metropolitan Detroit area of Michigan. I have worked with my oldest daughter Julie as part of a mother-daughter team. We have a studio that my daughter Julie and her husband run now, They specialize in High School Senior photography.
Her boys are Aaron and Steven, both in college now.
I am retired now from professional photography but still enjoy it, and may write a
book about Alaska .
I served as the president of the DPPA - Detroit Professional Photographers Association, 2007/2008 and Julie and her husband Ed are also past Presidents if PPM (Professional Photographers of Michigan) and or DPPA
My youngest daughter, Tracy. is - "Spice girl" here on Flickr-
Tracy lives in Palmer Alaska, in the Knik River Valley about an hour north of Anchorage. We often visit and post images here from those trips.
They have a son - Gunther who is also quite the mountain man.
I love Alaska and its spectacular vistas and untamed beauty. I try to visit as often as I can.
I like to use Flickr for my travel and more personal family images. I have some great portfolio type travel images from Alaska that I have posted here - Please do not use these without my permission.
I am also on Facebook - under Wally Spice
To view my photos here on Flickr it is best to use the sets which are organized better and less confusing than just the normal photo stream.
We are all digital now and love it. I am a Canon girl, I have the 5D and 20D and an old 10D I have converted to infra red. My favorite lenses are the 24-70 2.8 L wide angle and the great 28-200 IS zoom at 2.8L. Julie has a 40D ,a 20D and also still uses a Fugi S2 which uses Nikon lenses - mainly for beautiful infra red, especially with the fish eye lens. She just recently bought the Canon 5D Mark-II a 21MP camera that can also take movies.
Wally Spice doesn't have any testimonials yet.
