Since 1992 I have been working in many corners of the bicycle industry. I have done everything from wrenching in a shop, being the head mechanic for a tour company in Europe, leading tours all over Europe, and owning a shop. After all of this I found my way to Vanilla Bicycles where I worked for two and a half years. I recently decided to leave Vanilla try something new. While there I did everything from ordering to design to finish work on the frames. Before leaving I was building all of the racks and baskets that were going on the bicycles. Building racks can be amazingly difficult while also exceptionally rewarding and creative. As I was building these racks I realized how inefficient it was and is probably not worth the time for most bicycle builders.

This led me to one of my many new endeavors. I figured if it was not cost effective for a bicycle builder to build racks wouldn't it be more cost effective to just be a rack builder? I am still in the beginning phases of this venture and am sure it will evolve drastically in the months and years to come.

If you have any questions or are interested in a custom or semi custom rack please send me an email.
