Since entering the publishing world and launching my own website (, both at the end of 2008, I've been too busy to spend the time I like at Flickr.

I started writing as a way to get my photos published. My first magazine feature was published in January 2009 by Western Horseman; a month later, they had accepted two more and now I'm a contributing writer. I'm also a regular contributor to New Mexico Magazine, RANGE, enchantment, Ranch & Reata and The Chronicle-News, always leading with my photographs, then developing the written story.

Meantime, my large framed photos hang in public places across much of New Mexico including Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Belen, Deming, Lovington, and Portales.

Writing and photography have become a full-time pursuit, with everything now posted at my own website

"I really enjoy Tim's image stream. He captures rural New Mexico scenes AND people with consummate skill. His insightful and uplifting comments make me very fortunate to have him as a flickr friend."

" Tim is a talented, dedicated photo documentarian - a blessing to his community in northeastern New Mexico and the larger community here at flickr. He does a fine job showing the large landscape and the intimate detail - but in my opinion his portraits of his neighbors are the treasures that will be cherished for years to come. thanks Tim for sharing your world here at flickr."

"I would like to be the first to write a testimonial for Tim Keller, "Donegone". His photography is wonderful. Just look at ANYTHING this man has posted. He takes great care to get it right. Lovely composition, DOF, and colors. Of course, it helps to live in New Mexico where the light is just right, according to so many photographers and artists like Georgia O'Keefe. Tim knows what to look for. And, as a Flickr contact, he has helped me in many ways by commenting on my own photos. He has a strong background in photography and he knows what he is talking about.

TIm, keep shooting, buddy, cuz you are indeed one of the finest photographers on Flickr."
