Hello and welcome to my Flicker space.

I appreciate any comments so please feel free to leave any thoughts you may have on my photos. I will read and appreciate them all and return the favor for your photos.

In the past few years I have made an effort to work with people as models more and more. I'm the documentation photographer for my friends during outings and gatherings. I think of it as my gift to people to capture these moments for them. Digital has made it easy to share these images with many people with little extra effort. I am still drawn to minimal compositions, landscapes and people-less environments. But lately I am more drawn to the project of breaking down my inner resistance in asking and working with people to model for me. It's an ongoing project and I'm on the verge of being more focused on it...

Right now I'm a bit of a dabbler in photography. I've been shooting since I was 11 when I was allowed to borrow my fathers Pentax ME SLR. I loved that camera and sadly I unwillingly parted ways with it in a Paris train station. Since then I have been a big fan of Nikon cameras. I have several Nikon SLR film bodies and my first digital was a Nikon Coolpix 700 with 2MP. I am also the proud owner of a Hasselblad 500CM and 3 lenses. I would like to get a wide angle lens since that I what prefer to use. My Canon G3 has been my trusty 4MP digital for many years. I still use it and bought another one for stereo shots. The Holga has been my fun LOMO addition. I've also used a borrowed Canon 10D before I could get my own digital SLR. Today I shoot mostly with my Nikon D80. I also have a collection of vintage cameras that I hope to be able to experiment with one of these days.

That's about it for now. I hope you enjoy my photography and I'd love to hear any thoughts you may have. Thanks for reading and best of luck to you.
