I build and repair stained glass windows for a living.
I make people from polymer clay for fun.
I tell their stories: here, and at hiddenmissives.blogspot.com

About the faces:
Most are remixes of other faces. Toys and figurines in thrift stores and antique malls provide the originals. I press molds whenever I find faces. The faces are quite small, varying in size from about a half an inch to one and half inches. Each polymer clay face I make is pressed partially into several molds. In addition to molds of faces, I also use molds of stones, wood, shell, bone, nuts, as well as manmade objects of every sort.
Color is derived through the mixing of colored clays and (less so) by painting with acrylics. Faces are then scanned and their images tweaked a bit.

I love input, so comments are welcomed.
Remixing of my faces is also encouraged, as they all come with a CC/Attribution license. Please show me what you do with them.

    threadeater says:

"I have been watching your Flickr page for a LONG time now and am just blown away by the old fashioned persistence you have with this idea and how you keep wringing new images out of the same basic process. We should all be so disciplined in this world full of distractions."

"I've favorited Theojunior's heads more than any other of my 300+ Flickr contacts...why? Because they have everything: personality, wit, beauty, and a weird obsessiveness that I strive for both in life and art but seldom achieve. I don't know how he does it, I'm just happy and contented he does."

"Looking at TheoJunior's work I feel I'm peering into some mysterious metropolis, populated with all manner of strange beings all living in the same smog filled, bizarre city of shadow and dreams. An imaginative artist!"

"Endlessly inventive, TheoJunior does artwork unlike anyone else's I've seen on Flickr. You get the sense that he's tuned into a world of imperfectly perfect hybrids and fringe personalities, and the descriptions are just as entertaining and essential as the visuals. Really great and playful stuff!"

    Cassandra's Eye says:

"I happened to visit TheoJunior's blog. There I learned he has a minion. I am not surprised. He's forever inventive and able to cope with small things. He leads me to ask the question, "What's he building in there?" And that's not a bad thing."

    brancusi7 says:

"Theo Junior's endlessly inventive work, by staying with the face, recalls every viewer's experience with their own face and mirrors, and then our infinite visual vocabulary of all the faces we've ever been and seen. The humorous texts inspire the viewer to play his lookalike game, further opening up our imaginations, drawing us closer to his images to the revelation of their great empathy. What was presented as perhaps a humorous game of grotesques emerges as sensitive human intimacy."
