Tenacity, Inc. is a Boston-based non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the scholastic, character, and physical development of Boston area urban youth through an intensive school year program for middle school students and an extensive Summer Tennis and Reading Program.

During the school year, Tenacity runs an Middle School Academy (MSA) program. The goal of this three-year program is to enhance children's lives by providing tennis, academic tutoring, and life-skill development in sanctioned during and after-school activities which are fun and meaningful.

Starting in 2012, Tenacity started an Elementary Program that introduces young students to the game of tennis and to the Tenacity Pathway.

College Prep for Middle School Academy graduates provides academic support services emphasizing education, graduation, and post-secondary endeavors for high school students.

Alumni Services promote the continued success of our post-secondary students as they face the challenge of college or other pursuits leading to productive and rewarding lives

During the summer, at more than 30 neighborhood tennis courts throughout Boston, Tenacity offers a Summer Tennis and Reading Program presented in partnership with the Boston Centers for Youth and Families. The program is for Boston youth between the ages of 6 and 16 and focuses on basic instruction, league play, and the opportunity to participate in citywide competition at the annual Mayor's Cup Tournament in August.

The Summer Tennis and Reading Program has grown from serving 1,000 students at its inception in 2002, to nearly 5,000 students in 2012.
