My name is Carol Nelson and I love flickr. This photostream is where I play, from silly photoshoots with debauched members of PiP to bad family hat days : ) It is a combination of learning and fun. I love to shoot things with my Canon!

My dear old Dad went to heaven in November 2007 and as a gift from him I bought a Canon 5D and two lens Canon 24-105mm f/4L IS USM and a Canon 50mm f/1.4. So now I am trying to ensure I dont suffer from GAS - gear aquisition syndrome. I bought my first Canon, a 400D in February 2007. This was my first introduction to SLR or DSLR's so I have spent many clicks and empowered many neural pathways on my skill aquisition.

About me, as I said above, I am Carol Nelson. I started my life on the smallest island country in the world, Singapore and now live in the largest island country in the world, Australia. I am happily married to my beloved John. We live in Bridgetown, West Australia with our cats and dog. Three daughters and three grandkids live Perth WA, Alice Springs NT and Toowoomba QLD - all in Australia for our foreign friends.

I love flickr as I enjoy the diverse feedback from a world wide audience as well as the odd hilarious remark from friends and family as well.

Did I mention I love photography...

    Michael - B says:

"She's been to Australia and has seen Uluru! That alone shows that she likes to travel a lot. Most of her pictures show something living, sometimes something living with a halo even. If you like the outdoors and great landscapes you have to go visit her photo stream, no doubt."
