Hey everyone, I'm Andy, and I'm a photoholic. I bought my first camera, a Minolta P&S Digital back in 2004, and have loved photography since. Picked up an XSi in June 08, traded up to a 5D in February 09. I'll take any kind of help i can get to take better photos.

My gear:
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi w/Grip
Sigma 24-70 f/2.8
Canon 430 EX II Strobe with sto-fen
DMK Legs w/Manfrotto Ballhead

My wife and I just departed from Japan, where we lived while I served my final tour of duty in the Marines. I did 8 years, luckily enough for us, I never saw the war. We have a child on the way, and we feel getting out is the best move for us, as I don't want to put my family though the hardships of being a "deployment dad", and possibly not coming home.

I'm currently employed by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a Network Engineer in the Omaha, NE area.

I love flickr and the community here, for the most part, everyone is so friendly.

Photos have appeared in Stars & Stripes and Okinawa Marine Newspaper.

Also, check out High Heel, a band who I am very grateful to for asking me to shoot a few shows.

And Lastly, check out my friend Liz's website, without her, I wouldn't have met the band above.

    shannyDaly says:

"Andy is one of the most creative photographers i have seen in a long time.. especially when it has to do with the Marine Corps.

The moments that he captures, are all moments that tell a familiar story that every Marine has experienced. Weather its a regular PT day, a promotion ceremony, or even a crazy moment that just happened to have been caught with a canon, Andy has done an amazing things by capturing all of that.

everything he posts, you can see the thought, and the time he took to make that image the way it is.

Andy is a photographer, whos images i truley enjoy looking at, and commenting on.
