I'm an artist who has been taking pictures for the past 40 years. I love looking and seeing.

I love architecture and belive it is one of the highest forms of art.

I also love light and Its effects through the year. And, in its own right, its Poetry brings a great deal of delight to the senses and the soul.

My photos are intentionally small, so to draw the viewer into the image rather than have the image overwhelm the viewer.

These photos are available for purchase. The image size is aprox. 1.5 X 2.5" on a 2.5 x 3.5" sheet of acid free watercolor paper. I sell them in a matte black wooden easel back frame that is 3.75 x 4.25". Other sizes are available. Please inquire.

If you enjoy these images, won't you let me know? I don't do the usual threads that one sees on flickr, but I am greatful for your comment. I will respond to constructive criticism which is what I appreciate most. So please don't hold back.

Nihongo de dozo.

This is the river of photos I return to again and again to admire and to be taught. They draw one into seeing the world with a crisp and original eye. SHY ‘s artistic works reveals his great sensitivity, sense of balance and harmony. I will always dip my cup into this river for a cool clear drink.

SHY is my great 'big brother'. I have learned the beauty from him a lot. He always gives close attention to perfect composition and dignified colors. The photos he captured in the city are like finished paintings. There are some his works in my house. Those are invaluable treasure for me.
