Mostly interested in macro photography. I generally use a Canon XTi with an excellent Sigma 105mm Macro lense, or my old standby, the Sigma 70-300mm Macro lense.
I also frequently use my Panasonic DMC-FZ8 and the superb Raynox DCR-150 and Raynox DCR-250 macro lenses, especially for home studio super macro spider shots. I can't praise those cheap little Raynox lenses enough.
They are worth Every. Single. Cent.
If you like macro photography and aren't independently wealthy, you absolutely must buy them, especially if you just have a cheap little superzoom camera like I do with the Panasonic FZ8.
I've been in Minneapolis now for a few years, and am just getting some great insect and spider macros every summer after the long, long winters. Many of my previous shots were taken in San Antonio, TX, where comparably, it's summer all year long.
If you have any questions about any of my photographs, or the species they portray, go ahead and send me a message. I really like to hear from you, and I generally remember the places, circumstances and ways I shot a particular subject.
You can use my photographs for anything the Creative Commons license allows, just drop me a note or a link so I can see it posted.
Also if anyone wants to buy me a Canon T2i, I'll gladly accept!
