I am a Conservation Photographer and Environmental Writer. I am passionate about uncovering the psychological barriers that prevent people from protecting wildlife and the natural environment. Particular passions include the illegal wildlife trade, wildlife crime, marine exploitation, corporate and political power, consumerism and population issues.

My photography and writing are inextricably linked so upcoming photography projects will reflect my interest in wildlife crime. With the winner of last years Wildlife Photographer of the Year highlighting the brutality of the rhino horn trade, I feel the days of ignoring the tragedy behind beautiful wildlife photos are over. I want my future photos to provide leverage for change. See my upcoming project on the bear bile trade in Vietnam.
