I'm Chelsea, a recording engineer at Cincinnati Public Radio. Working in non-profit radio awesomeness has been my pleasure since the Fall of 2006. I principally record the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Opera, Linton Chamber Series, well, I guess you get the point - a WHOLE LOT of classical groups in the City. Originally from The Lou in good ole' Missouri, I have made Cincinnati my adopted hometown. I am constantly surprised with all the new, amazing ventures the Queen City has to offer and so, with the aid and expertise of my web friend and fantastically enthusiastic colleague, Jim Nolan, we have created a podcast - free to all!
Local Exposure, a 30 minute podcast of utter Queen City awesome is designed to tune you, our listener, into a neighborhood you may know of, live in, had no idea of or are just curious about. We are open to LOTS of ideas and spots that deserve exposure. We can't visit them all in our 30 minutes but we can sure try and if they don't make it to the cast - they can make it to the site.
We focus on what draws peeps to the secret nectars of the Greater Cincinnati area, through food, culture, and family activities. I am the proud mother of a wee babe and I want my lil' man to fall in love with the city as much as I have in my 5 years here.
Queen City Gems doesn't have any testimonials yet.
