I’m a writer and content marketing consultant specializing in technology and new media. My company advises business-to-business marketers on strategies to optimize their use of online channels to reach buyers cost-effectively at different stages of the buying cycle. I’m particularly interested in social media and the application of personal publishing to brand awareness and business marketing.
I’m a veteran technology journalist with more than 23 years of editorial experience. I was founding editor-in-chief of TechTarget, one of the most successful new-media firms to emerge on the Internet. Before that, I was editor-in-chief and executive editor of Computerworld. My book on social media, The New Influencers, was published by Quill Driver Books in the spring of 2007.
