Dr. Patrick Lappert grew up in San Francisco, attending the University of California, Santa Barbara, for his undergraduate studies. Joining the United States Navy during his senior year in college, Dr. Lappert was able to attend medical school as a member of the armed services.

Earning his M.D. from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Patrick Lappert enjoyed his time at the nation's leading federal health science's college. After completing his medical degree, Dr. Lappert returned to his home state of California, completing his surgical internship at Naval Hospital Oakland before joining Marine Fighter/Attack Squadron 451 as a Flight Surgeon.

During his 24-year career in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Lappert achieved many successes. The recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal and the Humanitarian Service Medal, Dr. Patrick Lappert served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and as a Specialty Leader in Plastic Surgery to the Surgeon General of the United States Navy.

Retiring from the Navy in 2002, Dr. Patrick Lappert built a private practice that has grown over the course of the last decade. Located in Madison, Alabama, Lappert Plastic Surgery serves a broad range of clientele throughout the Tennessee Valley and Northern Alabama region. Focusing on the comfort and privacy of his patients, Dr. Lappert employs the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques. The emphasis on gentle approaches to facial rejuvenation and body sculpting allow his patients to return to their normal lifestyle in a short amount of time.

Dr. Patrick Lappert has been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1997 and the American Board of Surgery since 1992. He belongs to the Alabama Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the Catholic Medical Association. Additionally, Dr. Patrick Lappert serves on the staff of the Madison Surgery Center and directs the surgical services at the Parkway Medical Center.
