I used to be a Special Education Teacher. Then, I ran away and joined the circus, by which I mean I went to culinary school for pastry and baking. I worked in fine dining kitchens and pastry sous chef and pastry chef for a couple of years, and now I do freelance food writing and work on my own blogging and writing. It's my goal to demystify cooking and baking for people and to make it accessible to everyone. I hate secret recipes and even though I am a recovering food snob, I hate food snobs, too.
