I have been an amateur photographer for as long as I remember. Startet out with at 35mm Ricoh compact camera and now some 30 years later I'm shooting with the Nikon D7000. I have been using a couple of analog SLR-cameras from Canon and Nikon.

I have even been shooting with an Yashica-44 from 1958 and a Franka Solida III from c. 1954. You really have to have the basic skills as a photographer on your backbone -- all settings are manual and meters are non excisting. But still: Great fun :-)

I was shooting analog until 2003 where I bought the Nikon D100 which was sent to retirement in 2007 in favor of the Nikon D80.

Recently I bought Nikon D7000, and looking back I realise how fast the evolution on D-SLR's have been.

I bring along my camera whenever I am on holiday and on photo walks. During work hours my camera sits back home patiently waiting... Lately I have been working on Project 52 shooting and publishing a picture every week. I think it sharpens my photographical skills.

I fancy shooting landscapes and I find much fun using my macro lens. I try to work my way around the motives finding new angles and perspectives. It is hard, though, not just shooting the way I used to shoot. So I am working hardly to change the way I think as a photographer -- hard and never ending work!
