Dave and i have a passion for wildlife and manage our garden in a wildlife friendly way. On 6th October 2012 we were awarded the RSPB President's Award for our services to volunteering for the Society. A very humbling occasion receiving an award for something we love doing.

I enjoy taking photographs of birds, bugs, bees, flowers...just about anything.

I use my pictures to give talks to loca Groups. If you would like a talk to a Group please contact me. My range of talks are:

California Dreaming
A tour of the wildlife found in the coastal regions of California around San Francisco before travelling inland to Yosemite and beyond to Lake Mono and the historical gold mining town of Bodie.

Life on a Volcano
A wildlife tour through the fascinating landscape of the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. This enigmatic place draws you by the power of scenery, mammals and birdlife.

Nature Rambling in Surrey
Walking around areas of Surrey such as Wey Manor, Thursley, Thundry and Bookham Common looking at the flowers, mammals, insects and birds. The talk takes in the wildlife of all areas and explores in a little more detail the history of the Wey Navigation.

A Winter’s Journey in Eastern Europe
A look at the countries of Estonia, Bulgaria and Hungary where raptors fly and masses of geese, cranes and other birds overwinter in the cold!

Warmer Times in Eastern Europe
Visiting Estonia, Bulgaria and Romania through the spring and late summer, this is a chance to see the birds of migration and the breeding successes of these countries.

*Hungary – Birds Galore…and more!
The spring and summer breeding birds of this part of central Europe are many and are found in interesting National Nature Parks that have been formed in the floodplain of the River Tisza. We visit the Hortabagy and Kiskunsagi Nemzeti National Parks to see not just the birds but some flowers and butterflies as well.

*Colour Magic in La Brenne
A visit to this rural part of France, cluttered only by the 2,000 lakes that help to create a haven for colourful orchids, butterflies, dragonflies and birds.

*British Columbia – A tour of Vancouver Island
A land of birds, bears, whales and wolves! Where there is wildlife around every corner of this temperate rain-forested area of the world.

* These talks have some amazing photos – even if I say it myself! Apologies for the lack of modesty it is just that we have been so fortunate to see some great things.

I hope you enjoy my pictures
