My short film STANDUP had its world premiere at the Rhode Island International Film Festival ( RIIFF - Flickers ) and won a major award. Writer/Director Louis McCullagh.

 

My film Call Me Son will screened at Filmstock (Eng) and has screened at The Los Angeles Irish Film Festival, Galway FF, THE HEART OF GOLD Film Festival in Queensland AUSTRALIA. Also in San Francisco International Children's Film Festival and the Phoenix International Film Festival, Belfast Film festival and at ReelHeArt -Toronto.

My second movie CALL ME SON stars Ciaran Flynn who plays Carl a boy in foster care. He is an awesome actor and I can't wait to see what the rest of the world thinks. It was completed and sent out to the first festivals. So far it has been selected for screening in Salford, Belfast and Australia. I work on people portraiture. In addition I am working on my project "The Northern Family" capturing daily life in my country. There have been two major exhibitions, the last had 30 images each 6feet x 4feet.

 

I have a selection of images which are available for purchase many of which have won local and international awards and recognition.

 

The FIRST MOVIE.

 

First time ever for a short from N.Ireland to be selected by the UK Film Council for inclusion on their promotion list for film festivals worldwife.

 

" The Morning News " is my first movie and was premiered at the Belfast Film Festival 2007. I wrote and directed it. I got to call "Action" and "Cut".

 

The Film has also been officially selected for the Jameson Short Film Competition at the Belfast Film Festival 2007 and also at the Galway Film Festival in July 2007. The Los Angeles Short Film Festival September 2007 and the Corona Cork Film Festival in October 2007. I have been invited to screen the film at the Paris-Signes De Nuit Festival in April'08. It has since been picked as one of the best British/Irish films of 2007 and has screened in Berlin, Stuttgart, Cologne, Salford, Luton, Waterford and was recently featured as a support film at Queen's Film Theatre, Belfast.
