The Northern Ireland Office (NIO) is responsible for overseeing the Northern Ireland devolution settlement.

We represent Northern Ireland interests at UK Government level and UK Government interests in Northern Ireland.

Our vision is a stable, peaceful, prosperous, forward-looking, ‘normalised’ Northern Ireland. To achieve our objectives, we work through partnerships within Whitehall, with the Northern Ireland Executive, the Irish Government and all those who share our ambition.
