I am 27, enthusiastic, often broke (because of adventures) and always working on projects. I have an over-active imagination and enjoy suspending reality.
Time travel is real.
All the way long ago, I used to have my own magazine in Glasgow called Toaster which was distributed nationally, then regionally to 10K. I sometimes have had credits in NME and Vice.
From October 2007-February 2010 I freelanced full-time mostly for Willamette Week in Portland and the paper's music site LocalCut.com plus photos and feature interviews for Pitchfork.
2008 credits also included: Rolling Stone, RollingStone.com, Blender, XLR8R, Spin.com, Time Out, Skyscraper, URB and Harp.
2009: NME, Sustainable Industries, The Stranger, Time, NPR, SF Weekly, Dead Oceans, In the Red Records
2010: Spin.com, Jezebel, Tender Loving Empire
2011: Gawker, Jezebel, Kill Rock Stars
2012: Spin.com, SocietePerrier.com, the Portland Mercury, Jezebel.com, Gawker.com, Fashionista.com, Kill Rock Stars

If you'd like to buy a print, please email me. Almost every photo (including polaroids) in my flickr stream is available as an 8x10 print for $25 including shipping within North America, the UK and Europe. Then I can buy more materials for props!

Nilina is a music lover. In fact, there is only one thing Nilina loves more than music itself... that is, the men that make it! In all reality, her photos speak for themselves. I can't wait until you publish a book, or somehow get your story out there. Lord knows you've got a thing or two to say. If you've never been on a shoot with Nilina, you simply haven't lived.Read less
