Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a nonprofit national Career and Technical Student Organization for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences education in public and private school through grade 12. Everyone is part of a family, and FCCLA is the only national Career and Technical Student Organization with the family as its central focus. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing importantpersonal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.
FCCLA’s mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner and community leader, members develop skills for life through –
• character development
• creative and critical thinking
• interpersonal communication
• practical knowledge and
• career preparation
By posting on the National FCCLA Flickr account, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), its affiliates and assigns, the right to print, publish, broadcast, and use in any manner FCCLA deems appropriate worldwide, in any media now known or hereafter developed, including, without limitation, the Internet, at any time or times, the participant's name, photographs and any language contained therein, for public information without additional consideration or compensation. Participants further release FCCLA, its affiliates and assigns from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising out of or relating the student member, teacher/adviser, or chapter’s submission. All photographs posted become the property of FCCLA and FCCLA reserved the right to delete those that are not appropriate and do not present the organization’s mission. If you are under 18 years old, you must have parental or guardian consent prior to posting photos on the FCCLA Flickr account.
