I'm passionate about photo-blogging and photographic therapy.

I'm interested in mental health, self-harm, eating disorders, private space, anxiety (attacks), depression, issues of privacy, medical histories, psychology, art history, visual theory, conceptual photography & psychiatry.

I like taking pictures of art (installation art).

I'm in love with f/2.8.

I enjoy roughhousing my 50d, putting my camera on the ground, taking pictures from the floor, taking pictures from the bath, taking pictures everyday.

Flickr is my personal journal & publicly accessible photo-blog.
It is also an archive of my daily-state-of-being & an (anxious) exploration of (my) private space.

"I've never said it directly but I think you are absolutely amazing and are among the few people on flickr who's streams I look forward to on a daily basis. I don't know why but you capture me in a way few people can and I think you are one of the most intriguingly beautiful women I have yet to encounter. That's all.
P.S. I've tried writing this testimonial for at least two months but got terribly nervous and stressed leaving a voicemail message on someone's phone...that I gave up on numerous occasions...anyways I did it!
    P.S.S. or is it P.P.S? You're rad.
    NOW that's all."

"i don't know carling in real life; come to think of it, don't much of her online either. but her words and pictures make me feel like i know the deepest places within her. she's quite rare, in that i truly don't think she realizes what an impact she has on her fans, of which i'm definitely one. i really hope that one day i'll get to meet her."

    "i love her shots,
i check them daily (: like her profile says, it IS photographic therapy, and how strange that can be. and even stranger that it helps somewhat. she's raw and natural, everything you see on her stream is truth, and i think that in itself is such a huge accomplishment in this world. keep your stuff up, you're amazing us all"

"This chick is edgy, brave and in your face with the facts of life. A true artist in her own element, I watch daily for her new uploads. Everyone should be so honest to themselves and I thank her for giving us a window into her life. it makes me want to be more transparent to the world..."
