Hello! Thank you for your visit.

GraphicArt-news was founded in 2010 as a way to express her love for arts in general. Maria has a passion for poster design, type design, book cover design, art photography and all forms of art that can just spark her emotions. "I can stay for hours in an art gallery admiring the amazing talented artworks, but how many galleries can one visit?" So Maria thought to create her own online gallery to keep her passion alive, to inspire herself but also her followers.

"I carefully pick high quality designs, illustrations, and art, from all over the world with a main focus on young designers, photographers and illustrators but also well known professionals in the fields that will teach and provoke the younger ones with their work. The main purpose of the blog is to inspire but also promote the world’s best creative expressions, to gather a network of top creative minds to review, critique, and to help us stay informed of the new trends and ideas taking place in the global visual arts and graphic design arena."

Co-founder of the International Reggae Poster Contest (www.reggaepostercontest.com) which waw launched on December 2011 with her partner, the creative activist Michael Thompson aka Freestylee. Since then, Maria is partnering with Michael as his curator and art representative of Freestylee (www.freestylee.net) and as co-owner of the “blank” creative studio.

Maria is an Online Administrator at the Green+You “Exhibition for Posters for Japan” project conducted by tha founder Byoung Won Choi and recently creative advisor at the “Limmie” online magazine publishing in Indonesia, Jakarta by Ezzro Nababan.
