I love taking photos and digital editing (photoshop & HDR). I like mostly landscape and cityscape photos with clarity, sharpness and strong colors (high contrast and saturation). I love the different colors of the sky and the different shapes of the clouds.

I love High Dynamic Range (HDR) images. See my HDRs.
Have a look at the HDR from a single JPG group

In the past I had the following cameras: Canon Powershot S1 IS (2004-2006), Canon Powershot S3 IS (2007-2009), Canon IXY Digital 700 (2007-2010), Canon Powershot S90 (July 2010 - May 2012) and Nikon D5000 (Dec 2009 - May 2011).

Now I have a Nikon D5100 (since June 2011), a Nikon D3200 (since December 2012), a Samsung WB600 (since feb 2011) and a Panasonic Lumix TZ30 (since April 2012).

I have the following gear:
-Nikon 18-55mm 1:3.5 - 5.6 G DX VR (which came with the camera)
-Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR
-Nikon 18-200mm 1:3.5 - 5.6 G II ED DX VR (which was more expensive than the camera :) )
-Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC macro
-Nikon SB-600 Flash

I have organised my photos in collections and sets. You can have a look at my photos through my collections which are more organised and not through my photostream because the photos are in no particular order there.

"I always look forward to Mike's new postings, ever since I happened upon his pictures one day I was searching for some NYC shots. Mike's work popped up..I thought..what is this!! I thought they were sensational. I felt I could walk down a street in his photographs. Not to mention the clarity, composition, and beautiful color. I've done alot of traveling through Mikes photos and now I'm a frequent flyer! always look forward to more. And for sure ,I have to plan a real trip because his work has motivated me more than ever.
I know he'll be a success at Getty and whatever else he chooses.
Not only is he a brilliant photographer,he's patient and willing to share his knowledge and also take time to comment or fave! I'm glad to know by some of the testimonials, he has a "terrific sense of humor' because now and then I like to leave a funny note or two! I wish you would put a book together Mike! I would be 1st in line to get it!"

"Mike is a fantastic photographer. I got hooked on his work when I saw his photos of Strasbourg in Explore (of course), but for some reason I never added him as a contact even though I would always keep going back to his shots of France.

Since I added him as a contact 8 months ago I've had the great pleasure of having him as a friend. Even if he's busy he always finds time to fave or comment on your work.

    It all helps Mike, thanks.

Mike is now getting recognized by Getty Images among others, I'm sure, so he is finally getting some credit for all his hard work and artistic abilities.

Another thing I love about Mike's Stream is the places he takes us to. He seems to have a passion for traveling as much as me and I love seeing his take on the many subjects that I myself have taken a stab at photographing.

Keep on shooting Mike and I'll keep on coming back, good luck with everything!"
