From the Japanese boke ぼけ, "blur" it is a photographic term referring to the appearance of out-of-focus areas in an image produced by a camera lens.[1] Different lens bokeh produces different aesthetic qualities in out-of-focus backgrounds, which are often used to reduce distractions and emphasize the primary subject. The effect itself is the circle of confusion, an image of the aperture convolved by the image itself.

Graffiti Kerkyra Style

I don't believe in heroes, but if I did, I'd have them in my top list:
- Buster Keaton
- Yoshihisa Maitani
- Federico Fellinin
This is all rather obvious, and I clearly should not have mentioned that.

    Kees van Mansom says:

"Matteo is a brilliant photographer with a great eye for composition. I have been following his stream for 18 months now and I consider his stream as one of the most interesting on Flickr. Great portraits, both on film and digital, with a good eye for the surroundings. But also excellent documentary work, like his series of Columbia and his street photography. We share our love for - or should I say addiction to - the old Olympus OM system and film and his stream is a show case of the potential of the system. Can't wait for his next upload!"
