I use this as a photodump. It's just a place where I batch upload photos.

I don't bother to crop, color shift or any of that. I don't even own a copy of photoshop and no, I don't use a cracked copy.

This isn't my portfolio, it's a collection of random photos.

Jake and I have a long history full of interesting moments and ups and downs. I can officially say that I like the person that he has become, and wish I could spend a lot more time with him. Unfortunately, his nomadic lifestyle made the last year or two hard to keep up with, and now his heart has been captured by an equally talented and sweet person in Canada. One half of his brain is a computer... the other churns out works of art. People aren't supposed to think with both sides of their brain. I think Jake is the one, but whether or not he'll be able to bring down the Matrix is another story. If we follow his works long enough we might all wake up.

Jake lives the adventures most of us would read about if National Geographic, Wired and Maxim merged into one magazine. He's not only one of the most talented photographers/writers/techheads I've ever met, he's also the cutest. And I'm simply honored that he allows me to see his world through his lens.

Fine eye, fine mind. A finer man you will not find. Jake Appelbaum is a true rennaisance soul. Show me someone else on any continent who looks as fly in a flight suit as a going-out-at-night suit. Someone capable of shooting an assault rifle with as much authority and grace as he shoots that canonEOSd20. No, my prettie… Read more
