Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is the world's first refuge for birds of prey and an international center for raptor conservation.


The mission of Hawk Mountain is to conserve birds of prey worldwide by providing leadership in raptor conservation science and education, and by maintaining Hawk Mountain Sanctuary as a model observation, research and education facility.


Hawk Mountain Sanctuary operates a 2,400 wildlife sanctuary with mountaintop and valley trails and scenic overlooks that is open to the public year-round. Modest trail fees, membership dues and bookstore purchases support local to global raptor conservation programs.


Hawk Mountain is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.
