I am married with three children. I work in education. My hobbies include my guitar, amatuer radio (GM0IVQ), geocaching and of course photography.

I have been interested in photography ever since my father showed me how to develop a film and make an enlargement in the darkroom in the loft. I used to use an Olympus OM1 but was smitten by the first digital camera I obtained. I could, once again, play around with the images - and this time I didn't need a darkroom. Then I bought a Nikon D50. This was my first digital SLR. It was lovely going back to using an SLR. I have now replaced my D50 with a D300S which gives me far more control and higher quality then the older D50. My family will tell you that I am obsessed as the camera goes with me everywhere. I don't think I have a problem!

I don't claim to be a good photographer, just one who is trying to learn the craft and see the world around me.

I hope you enjoy the images in my photostream. If you do then please let me know. If you think they could be better then please tell me that as well.
