"Pak Hardy is very humble friend. At the first time when I saw his nick name is Kgabisa Motonya or Gabisa Motonia, I'm smile, because in our language, its means "I am not able to take a picture". But to be honest all his capture is great, come with high level of art & skill.
Many of his picture inspired me so much.
I believe many of you got the same experience as mine.
Thanks to Flickr, for your effort to brought him to my "Photography Life" Thanks Pak Hardy for being my friend, my mentor and also my guru. All the best for you and your family."

"I really enjoy the contrast between Gabisa Motonia's fashion models and stone ladies!

I expect that the sculptors picked out the loveliest lasses in their times to model their work from as well...

Gabisa's landscapes range from the sublime to the mundane and it's that range that makes them fascinating.

A great example of how Flickr provides a doorway for a great photographer to give us insight into other cultures around the world!"

"Gabisa is a fine photographer from that wonderful country Indonesia that I love so much. His photos of the sublime ancient cultures of his country are particularly inspiring and I know that as I’ve been there and seen some of them with my own eyes. Why not buy some of this fine artist’s creations or commission Gabisa to capture what you desire?"

"*Gabisa is a wonderful person and photographer. I admire his work, his photos are taken from the heart . In every photo of Indonesia you can step back to history. *Gabisa can bring out the most important in his photos - the beauty and pain of his country, the worry about losing historical treasures. His photos of Indonesian temples are extremely interesting, full of details and shot so well that one can feel as if one has travelled back in time and ended up with the people pictures on the temple reliefs. I am glad that through *Gabisa's eyes I can travel to faraway places that I will probably never be able to visit myselt. Thank you for this opportunity, *Gabisa! :)"

"*Gabisa is an excellent photographer. His photostream is an excellent documentary of a series of old temples in Indonesia. This collection of excellent photos should be published. It is important to preserve treasures such as these even if only through photographs and *Gabisa has accomplished this with beauty and sensitivity. A "must see" photostream. He does excellent animal photography as well. It is a pleasure to count *Gabisa as one of my Flickr friends."
