I booked Darren Kuropatwa for our organization's public relations chairs workshop in October, 2008. He was thoroughly engaging. The audience wouldn't let him go until well into the lunch break. In fact, they rated his workshop the best session of the day. Darren whet our appetites for learning more about how local teacher associations can use free online technology to communicate with their members. He wowed us with his opening demo, gave us ideas that we could put to use immediately, and introduced us to some very cool communications tools. He is a guru on technology as it relates to teaching, is absolutely steeped in that milieu and thoroughly familiar with the tools. What our group most appreciated, though, was his ability to translate these concepts into language, demonstrations and tips that were easily understood. Given the quality of information we received from Darren and his engaging and entertaining performance, I would not hesitate to recommend him for teacher professional development events. Raman Job

Mr. Kuropatwa, Mr. K., sometimes known as The Darr, is a great example of humanity. He has the heart of a saint, the mind of a philosopher, and the soul of a shaman. I consider it an honor to be known as a friend to this man.
