Born in Indianapolis, raised from the age of 2 in Alaska, mostly in Anchorage. Moved to Seattle in the summer of 2001. Moved to Ellensburg in 2011, but after six years, have enthusiastically moved back to the Seattle area: Renton for two years, and now on Kent's East Hill by Lake Meridian.

Past cameras include an old film point and shoot, an early cheap no-name digital, a Kodak DX3500, an Olympus C2500L, a Canon Powershot A95, a Casio EX-Z77 a Nikon D70s, and a Nikon D7000.

Current kit: Nikon D750 with Nikkor 24mm f/2.8D, 50mm f/1.4D and 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Rokinon 85mm f/1.4, and 8mm f/3.5, and Quantaray 28mm f/2.8, 70-210mm f/4-5.6 and 55-200mm f/4-5.6 lenses; and Nikon SB-800 and SB-600 flashes for when I'm pretending I know what I'm doing.

Other electronic haunts, in rough order of how likely I am to show up: My blog is Eclecticism, and I'm also on Twitter and Facebook.

He's a long coat wearing, ginger-headed genius with a camera, documenting everything from the lives of the seattle technorati to awesome lamp-post art to hundreds of ordinary, everyday, intimate moments. The king of the sneaky candid shots of life. All hail Seattle's shutterbug supremo.
