I have recently been featured on the Future Positive Blog

A collector and documenter of many things. I was the owner of Mr Twm Dog RIP (Seasick Steve album) much loved and missed. Love cameras, gadgets and rugby. University of Portsmouth lecturer in The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries and author of Creative Portsmouth.
Background in Large Format Photography, TV/Film Stills and Design. DIY Spirit. Always looking for new ways to develop ideas - collaboration, community, curiosity.

I find the process fascinating - the details of a journey. Attention to detail reveals care and passion. Documentation and storytelling are both key to gaining content and generating interest.

I love connecting people and getting them to tell their stories. Mixing processes and disciplines up. Involving industry as much as possible in my teaching.

I tend to dive straight into projects - loads of idea sheets, research, right people to work with sharing ideas, processes and outcomes.
Inspirational figures are Paul Strand, Walker Evans and Lee Friedlander.

Author of the Creative Portsmouth book.
If you comment on any of my photos/videos then I would appreciate it if you didn't add dodgy graphics/awards. Thanks.

    hoy:mp says:

"Claire, proves through her photos, that there is an image everywhere, just waiting to be caught and expressed. Even the mundane is not quite that as mundane as you first through.

As well as the photos from her wanderings with Twm the (famous) dog, there is the Creative Documentalist, hellbent on connecting the many creative minds around her.

Well worth a wonder though the thousands of images."

    Live in Portsmouth/Southsea?

    You MUST meet Claire!!!!

The most 'networking' friendly person I've ever met. So many doors have opened up since our meeting.

so many fingers in so many pies!

And she's bloody great fun too!"
