My name is Chris Newman, a freelance photographer based in the upstate of South Carolina which is conveniently located near cities like Atlanta Georgia, Greenville South Carolina, Charlotte and Asheville North Carolina. I also regularly work coastal areas such as Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Savannah.

I work mostly in event photography capturing the moment as it happens and chronicling human events in a fraction of a second. I thrive on candid photojournalistic style. I also enjoy travel and location photography as well.

A personal passion of mine is capturing the beauty and charm of the Southern United States and its people, particularly the coast and the moutains.
