It brings me such peace to wander around taking photos. God has given us an endless palette of which to draw upon. I love capturing moments of my sons. They grow up so fast, so it's important to not miss anything!

Eventually I discovered for myself the utterly simple prescription for creativity; be intensely yourself. Don't try to be outstanding; don't try to be a success; don't try to do pictures for others to look at - just please yourself!

"Brandi is a very talented photographer . Her picture getting featured in an exhibition is a testament to this fact. Her multiplicity shots are very creative.I simply love them . Best part is they always convey a message and i enjoy giving my own interpretation. Her images on life are again very gripping and some of her shots of tender family moments speaks volumes about this. Another specialty of those family moments are the ones which show the lovely bonding between a mother and her son. Through her stream You can literally take a peek into a child's mind as you see the shots of zach in his different moods ranging from pensive, playful, awe. Its always fun discussing things with her and our list of topics can range from photography to culture.I love sharing interesting tidbits about my culture. She's a great friend and i can share just about anything with her. Keep clicking brandi and always stay the great friend you are."

"I introduced this young lady to Flickr not that long ago and had the pleasure of watching her photography grow very quickly. SmilingSunflower certainly has an eye for what makes a good picture and her portfolio diversifies from landscapes to portraits to animals and to flowers. She can turn her camera lens to any subject and create a picture of lasting appeal to the viewer. However, the pictures of her son capture more than just an image. They also capture a powerful love and bond for each other that only a mother and her child possess. Many will miss this as they don't know SmilingSunflower as well as I, and it's magic like that which makes photography so special and sentimental pictures priceless for years to come. Keep up the excellent work SmilingSunflower and I hope to share in your photography for years to come."
