William Kepler Bradley is a passionate and avid amateur astronomer living in the light polluted skies off Long Island, NY, not far from the lights of New York City. A classically trained chef in the culinary arts and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America currently working in healthcare in the field of food & nutrition. "I have always had a deep fascination with the mechanics of the universe. The sheer beauty of the many deep sky objects I have both seen and photographed keep me in awe." I am a lifetime member of the Amateur Observers' Society of New York and serve on its Executive Board of Directors. Also a member of the Astronomical League and Nasa's Night Sky Network. I'm active with both the Astronomical Society of Long Island (ASLI) and Custer Institute. I participate in public outreach with Hofstra University through a NASA grant with AOSNY to share with others that same fascination and wonder for the night sky."
